In his 20s and unmarried, when the material in this book was written, Taylor is a columnist for Ag Week, commenting with tongue in cheek on the ironies and oddities of modern-day ranching.

The 190+ short columns collected between these covers reflect on nearly any subject likely to cross the mind of a thoughtful rancher or farmer while cutting hay, fixing fence, or mucking out the barn. I purchased this as a gift and it was perfect! He read it from cover to cover and laughed the whole way through! Speedy delivery.
I bought this copy for my 16 year old grand daughter as she had been wanting a copy. I was in the middle of my copy which I am thoroughly enjoying when she visited me this summer. She lives about 1000 miles away so I ordered a copy for her to have. I hope she enjoys it as much as I have. It is a book that you can read a section at a time and have many good laughs. I have seen Ryan Taylor perform and he is as fun and enjoyable as his books.
